The Challenge
The client had been using a combination of legacy business intelligence platforms, which in today’s standards would be considered sluggish in producing data analysis reports. It took several hours for reports to be produced every time data analysis was requested. Even then, IT technicians were solely responsible for the programming and extracting of data, leaving the process inflexible and bottlenecked.

As a result, the client was unable to share information between departments in a speedy, systematic and secure fashion as the BI platforms in use did not enable thorough control in reporting and enhanced data security. The client also was in need of a system that could separate departments within the company, depending on what data they could access.
Our Solution
By utilizing Fusionex GIANT, the client is now able access on-demand business analytics for analysis. Reports are generated in record time and are more detailed than ever before as the database now handles billions of data rows, compared to the previous hundreds of thousands.

Use of the Intelliview component in GIANT allows for the segregation of company personnel into various groups with differing access capabilities. This can now also be done easily by system administrators without requiring any scripting or coding.

Fusionex GIANT has since brought self-service business analytics to numerous users within the client’s organizations and has solved all of the above problems with ease.
